Journal Conference Call for Proposals

ExclamationWe’re inviting proposals for 90-minute workshops at Journal Conference 2016: Pioneering the Next 30 Years, to be held May 19-22, Kanuga Conference Center, Hendersonville (near Asheville), NC.

The conference celebrates Kay Adams’ 30 years as a pioneer of the journal therapy/therapeutic writing movement, as well as the completion and official launch of her 10-book expressive writing series. Keynote speaker Natasha Trethewey, US Poet Laureate 2012-14, will join us, as will pre-conference workshop leaders Christina Baldwin, Ann Linnea, Richard Gold (author of Writing with At-Risk Youth, one of the series titles), memoirist Linda Joy Myers, and the Lively Muse Judy Reeves. Susan Hendricks leads a pre-conference tour and writing experience to Carl Sandburg’s house.

Please read the text of the Call for Proposals form (scroll down from the blue log-in section) before crafting your own submission. CLICK HERE to be taken to the proposal page. (PS We’ve heard from one Norton Antivirus user that the page was reported as malicious; it is perfectly safe.
